This site contains selected slides and materials from talks and keynotes. Most of these slide sets take a big-picture perspective; i.e., they are meant to motivate the work we (STKO) and our colleagues are doing, to anticipate what may be coming next, and to reflect on the development of our field. Since ideas evolve with every paper and talk, the list below provides only a very sparse overview, and most talks, minor or major, will not be listed. Occasionally, I may also include slides from a paper presentation or even a panel if it led to an interesting discussion.
Personally, I often find myself coming back to talks by others, as they frequently contain important lines of thinking that never make it into a paper but instead act as the glue for a broader research agenda. A wonderful example is Frank van Harmelen’s ISWC 2011 keynote.
